Jesper Hvirring Henriksen works as an Independent Technology Consultant specializing in Ruby on Rails web-application development as well as Oracle web- and database-development.
He has more than 15 years of experience working with software development as a developer, lead developer and technical lead and has programmed everything from a custom assembler to early model Palm Pilots and several high-traffic websites.
He likes to think of himself as a Pragmatic Programmer, as described by Dave Thomas and Andy Hunt in their excellent book The Pragmatic Programmer.
Jesper is a native Copenhagener and currently lives in Denmark just outside Copenhagen with his wife and two kids. He and his wife has also lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area.
